Happy Saint Patrick’s Day and Some Writing Links

My daughter and I are wearing green rubber band bracelets to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. We made two armfuls of these things last week, and they are surprisingly fun and addictive.

photo-16We are also planning to make green shamrock shaped Rice Krispie Treats. Recipe here. This will probably be the extent of our celebration. How are you celebrating? I’d love to hear about it in the comments. Now, for some fun links:

  1. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🙂 Those bracelets are super cute. My baby is still too little to do anything fun, so I just dressed him up in a cute green outfit and took pics. Late last week I got some bangers and cabbage and potatoes and made an Irish feast, so that counts as our celebration, haha…

  2. LEPRECHAUN TRAP!? That’s the first one I’m clicking on 🙂 Thanks for the links! We didn’t really celebrate St. Patty’s this year, but we went to a parade/celebration over the weekend in my stepdaughter’s college town, so that was festive.

  3. I’m coming to this post about two weeks too late! We didn’t do much for St. Patrick’s Day, but I’ll check out the list of Irish authors to try. William Trevor is one of my all-time favourites – I wonder if he made the list?
